DHA and chemotherapy drugs
DHA, a polyunsaturated fatty acid found in fish oil, was found to significantly decrease the nephrotoxicity (kidney toxicity) of the chemotherapy drug cisplatin. Also, when used alone in rat models, DHA significantly reduced the size of solid tumors, reduced levels of CRP (c-Reactive Protein), LC (Leukocyte count) and MDA (malondialdehyde), a marker of lipid peroxides and oxidation.
Mega Omega is a high potency omega oils containing EPA and DHA in a 4:3 ratio. Mega Omega is recommended for cardiovascular and neurological support.

Another reason for kids to say no to tobacco.
Teen girls who smoke are more likely to experience obesity at some point in their lives compared to girls who don’t, says a new study. For whatever reason, the same correlation did not exist for men.
Make sure to talk to your children about the dangers of smoking. If you are addicted to nicotine, acupuncture and supplements may help you quit. Call 949-600-5100 to schedule an appointment today!
