Dear Patient and Friend, 

I have been practicing medicine for over 55 years. During this time, I have benefited enormously from my experience with patients, for which I will always be grateful.

I firmly believe the relationship between doctor and patient should be a collaboration. A doctor should clearly explain what he knows and the patient should also be allowed to explain what he or she needs and wants. Medical decisions should always be made based on mutual understanding.

Over the past year I have experienced some significant medical complications that have led me to decide to retire and close my practice. I greatly appreciate having worked with you, teaching you and being educated by you.  There has been no better reward than seeing patients improve and recover under my guidance.

If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled before the closing date, we will be happy to assist you with your transition during your visit. If not, you may choose any provider of your preference. We encourage you to begin the process of establishing care with a new provider to ensure continuity of care. Medical Records Access

Patient records will be transferred to Morgan Records Management, LLC, the official HIPAA compliant records custodian. Records will be securely maintained for at least 7 years from your last date of service, in compliance with applicable laws.

Prescriptions

Please make sure you have current prescriptions with us and have secured enough medication. We can help you with prescription requests up to our closing date of March 31, 2026. After this date, you will need to have another doctor provide prescription recommendations and refills. Please make sure you have established a relationship with a new physician so you will not run out of any medication.

Frequently Asked Questions

After Dr. Sosin retires, will I still be able to see a doctor at IPM? 

No, After March 31, 2026 Institute for Progressive Medicine will be closing permanently. Martha Wittenberg, MD and Anne Zuzelski, MD will be seeing patients in new locations. 

Will Dr. Sosin provide phone appointments after IPM closes? 

At this time there are no plans for Dr. Sosin to continue seeing patients or providing phone consults. If this changes, we will post updated information here. 

Where can I see Dr. Zuzelski?

Dr. Zuzelski’s last day seeing patients at IPM is February 12, 2026. She will be accepting patients at UCI Samueli Center. Call (949) 824-7000 for more information, or visit this link:

Where can I see Dr. Wittenberg?

As soon as referral information is available for Dr. Wittenberg, we will post it to this page. 

How will I refill my prescriptions? 

New prescriptions and refills will be available at IPM through end of day, March 31, 2026. After this time, prescriptions will need to be renewed and obtained through another physician. Please see the referral section above for referral information. 

Where can I get Ozone Therapy? 

The Lam Clinic listed above in the referrals provides ozone therapy. Please also see www.aaot.us for a list of physicians who specialize in ozone therapy.

Where can I get nutritional IV therapy?

Most of the physicians listed in our referral section provide IV therapy. Please contact them for specific information about what is available. 

Where can I get PRP Injections? 

Anne Zuzelski, MD will continue to provide PRP, PIT and other injection therapy options at UCI Samueli Center. We encourage you to contact them for more information on what is available. 

Where can I get Exosomes?

What about Hormone replacement therapy and Hormone Pellets? 

Most of the physicians listed in our referral section provide BHRT and pellet procedures. We encourage you to contact the offices listed to find out which one will be the best fit for you. If you have an appointment at IPM before our closing date, we can help you with appropriate referral information for pellet therapy. 

I have been ordering my supplements from IPM. How will I continue to get them? 

IPM will transition our online store to FullScript to provide our patients access to nutritional supplements. There you will find over hundreds of trusted brands and many thousands of items available. As a courtesy to our patients, supplements orders will receive an automatic 10% discount applied to all orders. Your first order will receive a 30% discount. Shipping is free over $50. 

Some products are not yet available on FullScript. For these items, we recommend that you purchase directly from the manufacturer whenever possible. Mountain Peak, Hylunia, Ozolabs, LifeSeasons,  CHK Nutrition, and others. 

What will happen to IPM Private Label Products?
