As the incidence of autism continues to grow at an alarming rate, researchers are now saying that the 7-8 fold increase in autism seen in California cannot simply be explained by improved diagnostic techniques or changes in how those with the condition are counted.
The researchers go on to say that, “it’s time to start looking for the environmental culprits responsible for the remarkable increase in the rate of autism in California,” including environmental chemical and infectious microbes.
