General Rate Information:

We recognize and appreciate that staying healthy can involve a major financial commitment.  We aim to provide you with effective and affordable health care. The following listing provides rates for many of our services.

For Cash Patients:

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard, personal checks and cash.

Insurance Coverage:

The Institute for Progressive Medicine accepts Medicare for consultations with a medical doctor, provided your benefits are not assigned to an HMO. If you have private insurance, we will be happy to provide you with a statement you can submit to your insurance for payment.

At this time, we are unable to accept insurance for visits with a naturopathic doctor (N.D.) However, more and more insurance companies are covering naturopathic medical care. Ask your carrier about coverage or reimbursement.  If you have insurance that does not cover naturopathic medical care, use of a Health Savings Account (HAS) or flexible spending account may cover this care.  Additionally, we are more than happy to provide you with a Super Bill to submit to your insurance company. Physician Consultation:

New Patient visits with a medical doctor can run up to an hour, but are not based on time. If it has been three (3) years or more since your last visit, you will be considered a new patient.

Acupuncture:

Visits for acupuncture run 45 minutes to an hour.

Intravenous Therapies:

We offer a wide variety of intravenous drips and pushes. Fees vary depending on the treatment recommended by your doctor.

Prolotherapy:

Fees vary depending on sites and number of injections.

EECP:

EECP may be covered by Medicare or private insurance for specific diagnoses. As a courtesy to our patients, we will bill EECP treatments to insurance for patients with appropriate diagnoses. The cash price for EECP is $175 per treatment or $150 per treatment when purchased in a block of 10 treatments.

Laboratory and Diagnostic Testing:

As a courtesy to our patients, we will bill your PPO insurance for in house laboratory testing ordered by an M.D. or N.D. at the Institute for Progressive Medicine, even if we are not a contracted provider. Patients are responsible for any deductible or co-insurance that may be applied to laboratory services. All outside laboratory testing is payable directly to the company performing the test. Fees vary depending on specific testing ordered by your doctor.

Nutritional Supplements:

Fees for nutritional supplements are based on the products specifically recommended for you by your doctor. Patients may receive a 10% discount when purchasing 3 or more of a particular product.
